Indigenous Recruitment

When recruiting Indigenous talent is a priority, having the right expertise and relationships matters. Talent iQ provides specialized recruitment support to help your organization attract, engage and hire Indigenous talent.

The Indigenous Talent Recruitment Partnership

Talent iQ becomes an extension of your team.

You may not need a full-time Indigenous recruiter. But when Indigenous hiring is a priority, you still need the right expertise, relationships and capacity.

A dedicated Indigenous recruiter from Talent iQ works alongside your team, focused on your Indigenous hiring priorities and supported by the relationships, knowledge and approach we have built.

A dedicated recruiter. A relationship that grows. Hires that count.

  • A dedicated Indigenous recruiter who works as an extension of your team
  • One to three days a week of recruitment support, depending on your needs
  • Support for your hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Direct, relationship-based outreach to Indigenous talent
  • Support from recruitment preparation through to hire and onboarding

The partnership is designed as a 12-month engagement, giving your recruiter the time to build relationships, understand your organization and create momentum from one hire to the next.

Our approach

How each hire comes together

What sets our approach apart is that we work on both sides of the relationship: preparing candidates while helping your managers create a recruitment experience where Indigenous talent can succeed.

Four steps guide each search, usually over six to eight weeks per role.

Our hiring approach as a circle: 1 Listen, 2 Connect, 3 Prepare, 4 Welcome.
